How to Use Global Settings in the Printify Product Uploader
The Global Settings panel in the Printify Uploader is your command center for applying universal settings across your entire upload batch. Any settings you enter here will automatically apply to all the designs you’ve uploaded in that batch.
Whether you’re uploading 3 designs or 300, Global Settings make bulk listing fast, easy, and consistent.

Pro Tip: Only apply Global Settings after you’ve uploaded all your designs. Adding more designs later won’t automatically apply the Global Settings to those new uploads.
Global Fields Overview
Title
The Title field is the name that will appear on your Etsy listing. You can set titles in bulk for all listings at once.
File Name Option: By default the file name of your design will be the title.
Global Title: Type a title in the Global Settings, and it will overwrite for all listings in the batch.
Individual Edit: You can edit individual titles in the Product Preview section (after a global edit).

Etsy’s title limit is 140 characters. Prelist ensures your title won't exceed this limit automatically.
Keywords
Keywords make it easy to randomize your titles and add variety across your listings. When you add keywords in the Global Settings, Prelist will randomly apply them to each upload in your batch, placing them after your global title (if you’ve set one).
Prelist automatically ensures that:
Your titles never exceed Etsy’s 140-character limit.
Keywords are not cut off mid-word.
This gives your listings a unique, randomized feel while staying within Etsy’s title guidelines.
Global Entry: Add keywords separated by commas. These will be added to all listings in the current batch (to the right of each product’s global title - if there is one).
Individual Edit: You can fine-tune keywords for each product or variant in the Product Preview section.

Tags
Tags act as search labels to help Etsy categorize your products.
Global Entry: Add up to 13 tags (20 characters each), separated by commas, and they will apply to all uploads in the batch.
Individual Edit: Customize tags for specific listings or variants in the Product Preview section.

Product Preview: Edit Individual Listings
While Global Settings apply your chosen details across the entire batch, you can edit individual listings or specific variants at any time in the Product Preview section.
Update titles, keywords, and tags for any specific product.
This gives you control if you need to make product-specific or variant-specific adjustments.

Size & Positioning Settings
The Printify Uploader allows you to control how your designs are positioned and sized across all product variants.
Toggle Options:
You can choose how your design aligns within the print area using these options:
Fit to Placeholder: Fits your design within the print area, maintaining its aspect ratio.
Fill to Placeholder: Fills the print area completely, which may crop the design.
Align Left, Center, Right, Top, Middle, Bottom: Aligns your design to the respective edges or center of the print area.

Advanced - Sizing Options:
Editing more than one parameter at a time will cause conflicts unless your designs are perfectly sized. We recommend using the toggle settings for the best and easiest result.
Customize your design’s size and exact placement:
Width: Design width in inches.
Height: Design height in inches.
Scale: Size of the design as a percentage of the print area.
Position Left/Top: Distance from the edges, in percentages.
Rotate: Rotate your design in degrees.
You can either:
Use Default Settings: Let the system auto-fit your design.
Input Custom Measurements: Manually adjust your design’s size and placement across all uploaded designs.
Final Tips for Using Global Settings
Global Settings apply to all the designs you’ve uploaded in your current batch. Designs added later won’t automatically update.
You can still edit individual listings or specific variants at any time in the Product Preview.
Always double-check alignment, sizing, and keywords to ensure your designs are optimized for Etsy’s search and display.
